Collaborations > North Bronx Collective

In 2020 as a result of the pandemic, I co-founded and organized with The North Bronx Collective- a community group in the Bronx led by Black and Brown woman and non-binary people. Through radical gardening, mutual aid, and educational programs, we worked towards Land Back (a movement advocating for the return of land to Indigenous peoples) and the abolition of private property. In August 2020 we began stewarding a strip of parkland called Tibbett’s Tail in the Bronx, turning it into a community garden. We were locked out of the garden by the city on March 27, 2021.
