Everywhere at home there are books surrounding me. This isn't such a bad thing. Reading is transformative. But here's the hitch: Some of these books I vaguely remember and there are some that I have promised myself to read, but haven't gotten to yet. So, my challenge is to read what's in my bookcases. I'm starting with the widest bookcase (5 shelves @ about 24"). It contains the fiction and theory from decades of schooling. To be honest, I'm not sure how long this project is going to take. I have two kids, art work to do, not to mention a job and housework. The best thing to do is to start and see. My posts will be as often as I can do them which is anywhere between daily, weekly, and maybe monthly sometimes. Do not use or quote any text from the blog without notifying the author first. Thanks.
